The graduate program of Speech-Language Pathology is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA). The program has maintained continuous accreditation since 1982. Upon completion of the master's degree and nine months of supervised professional experience, graduates of the program are eligible for the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). The CCC is the professional accreditation that is recognized in every state and required for professional practice in most work settings.
