Curriculum

The pre-professional Bachelor of Science degree with an area in Communication Disorders requires a total of 120 semester hours. These include 47 hours in the major. The Bachelor of Arts degree requires a total of 121 to 124 semester hours. Professional employment requires a master's degree. Undergraduate students in communication disorders complete a wide range of courses in basic processes of speech and language as well as normal and disordered communication. Students may declare Communication Disorders as a major at any time, but they must be admitted to the program to take upper level courses.
