   Welcome to our EDU 633 class! You will be completing a series of tasks beginning the very first week, so be sure to purchase your textbook BEFORE the semester begins. We'll be using this book:Text Book:  Henson, K. T. (2010). Curriculum Planning: Integrating Multiculturalism, Constructivism, and Education Reform. 4th Edition. Long Grove, IL: Waveland Press.

   

  The tasks will include independent and team activities. A semester-long curriculum project is embedded throughout various tasks as well. Please plan to spend the same amount of time completing the tasks as you would normally spend sitting in a traditional classroom plus doing some homework.   This course is a survey of literature across time in the Western Tradition. This is a reading-intensive and writing-intensive course. Students will be required to complete blog posts that incorporate multimedia elements on a regular basis. There are two reasons for this decision.  The first is that if you become interested in soccer officiating this class will be a great place to start toward that end.  Through this class material, you will be introduced to a wide variety of soccer played in a variety of different levels, college, high school and recreational for example.
