Critical Dates
Winter 2011
There will be no bills issued for the winter term. Students will be notified of the amount owed on their MSU email address. There is no payment plans for the winter term and tuition must be paid in full by November 11, 2011.
Students can make payments online through the payment portal located under the “Money” tab on their myGate account. Once students have followed the “My Account/View my e-Bill” link, they will be re-directed to the payment website.
Student must pay by the due date or they will be purged from their classes. The University WILL PURGE STUDENTS ON NOVEMBER 14, 2011 who have not paid in full. Those students who have been purged WILL NOT be allowed to reschedule for the winter term.
Spring 2012
Students who have not paid in full by the eBill/email notification due date, OR by the first day of their first class, WHICHEVER DATE OCCURS FIRST, may have their classes dropped (purged) unless they have been officially enrolled due to attending and paying for an earlier summer session. The purge for the spring semester will occur on January 4, 2012.
Those students who enroll after December 13, 2011 will be notified of their due date via their MSU email address.
BILLS ARE DUE:
Students must have enough aid to cover the balance of their account, be enrolled in a payment plan and have made their first payment, or be paid in full by this date. The University WILL PURGE STUDENTS ON JANUARY 4, 2012 who have not satisfied these requirement.
Students are required to sign up for a Murray State University Payment Plan (MSUPP) if they are not prepared to pay their balance IN FULL by the due dates listed above or on their billing statement (whichever occurs first). Payment plans are available by logging onto the student myGate site, clicking the MONEY tab, and following the MY ACCOUNT link. Students are required to sign up for a new payment plan each semester (summer included) if they wish to make monthly payments. For more information on payment plans - click here.
Payment Plan Due Dates:
1st payment: December 16, 2011
2nd payment: February 3, 2012
3rd payment: March 2, 2012
4th (and final) payment: April 6, 2012
