Murray State University > Private Room Request

Private rooms are only granted as space permits. A PRIVATE room for the fall 2011/spring 2012 academic year is $1,000 more (per semester) than the double room rate. The additional $1,000 will be prorated from the date of room change.

Lee Clark & James H. Richmond
PRIVATE room rate - $3,521 per semester

Hart, Hester, Regents & White
PRIVATE room rate - $2,996 per semester

Franklin, Springer & Richmond Hall
PRIVATE room rate - $2,903 per semester

If you have a documented medical condition that would necessitate having a private room, a Request for Housing Reasonable Accommodations Form will need to be submitted to the Office of Disability Services, 423 Wells Hall. In addition to a Request for Housing Reasonable Accommodations Form supporting documentation from your physician will also need to be provided. The Office of Disability Services will review the request and make the appropriate recommendations to the Housing Office.
