Single Parent Support Club
The mission of the special clubs in the Office of Multicultural Affairs is to enrich the lives of multicultural students by providing them with an an opportunity to get together at least once a month to network and socialize with each other. Activities are designed to educate students and celebrate with them their unique cultures. They help to develop and strengthen students’ self-esteem, social and leadership skills through networking, displaying talents, and meeting other students within their cultural group. As a part of the Single Parent Support, the Office of Multicultural Affairs offers single parents an opportunity to further expand their support system to help students become successful students as well as successful parents to their children while completing their education at Murray State University.
