The College of Education Student Ambassadors, comprised of education
majors, assists with recruitment, retention, school visits, and other
recruitment activities on campus.
Through involvement in the ambassador program, students have the opportunity to meet with prospective students, speak with students who have expressed interest in attending MSU and major in education,as well as interact with area high schools visiting the College of Education. The ambassadors assist with the Freshman Transition (EDU 099), participate in welcome activities for Freshmen and transfer students and provide campus/College of Education tours. They also provide mentoring for students in education programs. There are many times the ambassadors represent the College of Education at various functions each semester.
