Counseling Program Admission Requirements
The MSU Counseling Program is committed to a full counseling education experience for students, including knowledge, skills and personal development in an evolving and diverse world. Students applying to the CNS program should maintain qualities that meet College of Education standards. Counseling students should demonstrate inclusiveness, responsibility, enthusiasm, caring, confidence, and ethical behavior.
Application requirements: - MSU Graduate School Application
- Program Application
- Recent GRE score (less than 5 years)
- Letter of intent
- Three letters of recommendation
- Resume
- Interview with the Counseling Program Admissions Committee

Applicants may contact the Counseling Office for more information, 270-809-2793. All potential students must apply to both the Murray State University Graduate School and the Counseling Program.
