Both the School and Clinical Mental Health Counseling Programs are accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling & Related Educational Programs (CACREP).

Clinical Mental Health Counseling (Ed.S. degree)
(Murray State and Madisonville campuses)
Accredited: Two-Year Period with Conditions through October 31, 2016
Additional information is required for the following standards:

  • Standard L.2.c
  • Standard AA.1
  • Standard AA.6

The programs were found to substantially meet the standards with some minor standard-related deficiencies for which the Board requires further information. The program is required to submit an Interim Report on the above listed standards for review by the CACREP Board prior to the accreditation expiration date.
