Outdoor Recreation Track

The Outdoor Recreation Track prepares students for careers dedicated to the protection of recreational lands and the promotion, planning, and leadership of healthy recreation programs and activities in the outdoors.

Students will develop skills in leadership, management, programming, curriculum, and interpretation.  The curriculum includes a wealth of hands-on experiences in leadership and skills development.  Students will be preparing for careers in municipal, state, and national parks; outdoor recreation centers, travel & tourism; recreation programs and facilities; youth camps; environmental centers and programs; and other roles that contribute to the sustainability of essential outdoor recreation resources and programs.
