The Summer Challenge program at Murray State provide gifted children opportunities
to learn and express their talents through a variety of experiences. The program will
offer students learning opportunities beyond what their local schools can provide
through teachers that offer specialized instruction. Students enjoy learning with
other gifted children from across the region with the same interests as theirs. Many
of the students are repeat participants.
The Summer Quest program is structured for rising 2nd-grade through rising 11th-grade students in gifted/talented programs in public, private, or home schools. Students have fun while learning science, math, social studies, creative writing, technology, the arts and engineering through hands-on, thought-provoking lessons taught by area certified teachers.
The Kentucky Association of Gifted Education offers financial assistance to families of gifted children. Click here for more information.
