Philosophy Club

The MSU Philosophy Club seeks to encourage philosophical discussion between students and professors. Dinners, coffee-shop gatherings, movie nights, and other get-togethers are planned for each semester to give students the chance to get to know one another and discuss philosophical issues that are important to them. At times students or professors will present their own work at a meeting, and at other times topics are chosen less formally. In past years, the Philosophy Club has organized a trip to conferences so that members can interact with students at other universities, present papers they've written, and listen to talks given by other philosophers.
