Excellence, Outreach, Innovation

Our department’s work extends far beyond the classroom. From introducing school kids to the wonders of Shakespeare, to helping members of our area's international community learn English, our faculty, staff and students actively seek out ways to serve the greater good. Here is a glimpse of the Department of English and Philosophy’s efforts to meet, and exceed, key imperatives—excellence, outreach and innovation.
