The Baptist Health Madisonville/Murray State University Program of Anesthesia has received full accreditation status from the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs, a specialized accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Certification pass rate:
As of 2010, the COA’s documented pass rate for the program is 89%. Statistics for the 2011 graduating class are not available.
Employment rate:
Within 6 months of successful completion of the certification exam, 99.7% of graduates were employed in nurse anesthesia positions. Below is a diagram which demonstrates the practice sites for former graduates.
ATTRITION:
Attrition rate average over the past 5 years has been 5.5% with the overwhelming majority of nurse anesthesia students graduating and finding employment as CRNA’s.
