The mission of the Dietetic
Internship Program at Murray State University is to prepare entry-level
dietitians with the competencies to practice general dietetics in multidisciplinary
settings to meet the present and future nutritional and food service needs
of their community. The program at Murray State University assumes the responsibility
for providing advanced educational opportunities in dietetics in the Western
Kentucky region. The region will benefit by having competent dietetic professional
serving in various health-related facilities and businesses.
