Murray State University has been ranked for five consecutive years in the category of “Great Schools at Great Prices” by U.S. News & World Report 2004-2008.  However, we understand that paying for college is an important factor in selecting a college and obtaining your degree.  As you are considering sources of financial assistance, you may want to visit the Bursar's Office web site for up-to-date cost information.

After estimating your cost of attendance, you may be considering one of many financial aid resources including but not limited to grants, work-study, student loans, scholarships, military benefits, and employer tuition assistance/reimbursement programs.

Grants, work-study, and loans
Financial assistance may be available to you in terms of state/federal grants, work-study, or student loans (Perkins or Stafford).  These require you to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) along with a university financial aid application.
