On February 10th, 2005, Murray State University School of Agriculture held its first Soybean Promotion Day in conjunction with the Kentucky Soybean Promotion Board. The day's events included seminars such as "Creating New Markets with Soy Biodiesel" and "Meeting the Challenge of Soybean Rust." That evening, Soybean Promotion Night continued at the MSU vs. Tennessee Tech basketball game which was held at the RSEC. Special recognition was given to soybean producers at the game.
