The Murray State University Department of Art & Design and the University Galleries present Beloved Microcosm, the BFA exhibit in painting by Logan Weihe, on view in the Curris Center Gallery from April 14 through April 22, 2017.
Weihe, a senior from Louisville, Kentucky, is a member and the secretary of the Organization of Murray Art Students. She is also a member of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges and a student member of the Association of Medical Illustrators. She has received a Taste of the Arts Scholarship, the Shaul Myers Art Scholarship, and is in the Murray State University Honors Program.
Weihe has also been accepted into the prestigious Biomedical Visualization program at the University of Chicago, where she will begin her studies to become a certified medical illustrator in Fall 2017.
A reception for Beloved Microcosm will be held on Friday, April 14, 2017, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Curris Center Gallery.
Admission is free and open to the public.
