Healthy Horse Outfitters is a selection of camping and outdoor equipment for recreational use. Located in the Wellness Center, rental equipment is available for all members. Equipment inventory and rates are listed below.

Policies and Procedures

Equipment rentals are available to all Murray State students and members.

To check out equipment, you must present your Murray State ID and be prepared to pay

Damage to equipment beyond normal wear will be billed to the individual checking out the equipment.

Individuals will be charged a penalty fee equivalent of one day rental for each day late.

To check out equipment, contact the student staff member at the front desk. To return equipment other than canoes and kayaks, return to the front desk. Canoes and kayaks should be returned to the east side of the building in the service parking area. Come to the front desk for assistance.

Rental rates are applied based upon number of days for equipment checkout.

Daily rates apply when equipment is checked out one day and returned the next day.

For 3 day rental, an individual should return the equipment on the 3rd day of checking out. For example, if you check out on Friday the equipment should be returned on Monday.

For 7 day rental, an individual should return equipment on the 7th day of checking out.

Equipment must be returned before 4 p.m. on the due date. However, the building opens at noon on Saturday and 3 p.m. on Sunday. *to know the regular, weekend and holiday building hours please see the homepage on the website for updated information.
