Dr. Milkman received his Ph.D. in 1989 from the University of Oregon and his B.A. in 1982 from Brandeis University. Dr. Milkman has published papers in a variety of journals. He has also received numerous grants and contracts for research and development activities in the areas of education, labor relations, and regional economic development. In 1998, Dr. Milkman received the Board of Regents Award for Teaching Excellence.
