Dr. Seaton received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Masters of Business Administration degree at The University of Tennessee at Martin. In 2007 he completed a PhD. with a major in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management and a minor in Strategic Management at The University of Memphis. Dr. Seaton worked in the private sector as a Chief Investigator and training officer for a law enforcement organization before returning to school to complete his education. His law enforcement career spanned from 1985 until 1996. Using his experience in law enforcement administration, he has researched, made conference presentations, made presentations to civic groups and published papers that involve issues such as unethical behaviors, aggression and violence in the workplace, and coping responses to injustices in the organization. Dr. Seaton is also active in the training and consulting of police departments and other organizations.
