Dr. Holmes received his Ph.D. in Marketing from University of Cincinnati in 1997, Master of Business Administration in Information Systems from University of Kentucky in 1984 and Bachelor of Science of Business Administration in Marketing from University of Louisville in 1982. He recently had some research that he presented on professional conferences. Dr. Holmes' worked in the private sector as a corporate trainer and business owner from 1985 to 1992. His main research and teaching interests are in business relationships and communication issues in channels of distribution. He believes the increasing presence of all forms of electronic commerce within marketing channels will allow researchers to test the robustness of current business relationship paradigms.
