Academic Teaching and Research Interests:
Organizational learning, critical organization study, democratic
workplace practices, systems dynamics, chaos and complexity
issues, generative mentoring, organizational change.
Broadly, my research is aimed at changing the way we
live by changing the way we work, and changing the way
we work by changing the way we interact with each other.
Specifically, my research derives from critical organization
study, organizational learning and complexity theory,
and focuses on the cultivation of authentic human interaction
in organizational contexts.
Teaching
Responsibilities:
Undergraduate courses in Organizational Communication, Critical Thinking,
and Conflict Management. Graduate courses in Organizational
Democracy, Organizational Learning, Communication in
Complex Systems.
