Murray State University has been ranked for five consecutive years in the category of “Great Schools at Great Prices” by U.S. News & World Report 2004-2008. However, we understand that paying for college is an important factor in selecting a college and obtaining your degree. As you are considering sources of financial assistance, you may want to visit our online cost calculator to estimate your cost of attendance. After estimating your cost of attendance, you may be considering one of many financial aid resources including but not limited to grants, work-study, student loans, scholarships, military benefits, and employer tuition assistance/reimbursement programs. Grants/Work-Study/Loans Scholarships New! Transfer Scholarship If you're a first-time transfer, you may be eligible for our new transfer scholarship. You must have a 3.25 transferable GPA, 48 or more transferable hours and plan to enter Murray State for the fall 2009 semester. For more information, click here. Military/Veteran Benefits Dependents or spouses of deceased and/or 100-percent disabled veterans may be eligible for benefits. A tuition waiver may also be available for dependents or spouses of deceased and/or 100-percent disabled Kentucky veterans through the Kentucky Veterans Affairs Center. Tuition Assistance/Reimbursement Programs Some employers may offer tuition assistance or reimbursement programs as a part of your employee benefits. If you are not sure if your employer offers such benefits, contact your Human Resources office or benefits personnel. |
