It's good to be green,
and green gets you free stuff!
Bring your own mug to Winslow Dining Hall and leave with a free drink - even if you didn't take your meal to-go.
All our take-out containers are 100 percent biodegradable, but time, energy and resources must go into their production. Sending them straight to the dump is simply a waste.
Join us in our green efforts
love food, hate waste.
Upcoming Green Initiative:
Locally Grown Produce
Spring vegetables have been planted at MSU's Pullen Farm. Now we're patiently waiting for Mother Nature. Insanely fresh vegetables - coming soon to a plate near you!

Murray State Sustainability
What does "sustainability" actually mean?
A dictionary may tell you an action is sustainable if it can continue without risk of failure. In green terms, a sustainable action is one that has little negative impact on the environment.
Why is sustainability important?
The health of the environment is vital to the health of society. Sustainable actions ensure a healthy environment that will support generations to come.
What is Murray State Dining Services doing?
To put it simply, Dining is reducing, recycling, and reusing. Follow the links at the left of this page for a few more details. If you have any questions, suggestions, or even want to help us in our Sustainability mission, leave us a comment.
