State University's Office of Environmental Safety and Health (ESH)
investigates complaints about indoor air quality. Working with the
Environmental Shop (HVAC), complaints are investigated and inspections
are completed in an attempt to locate the source of the problem.
Inspections are performed to insure that the building's heating
and cooling systems are functioning properly. The Office of Environmental
Safety and Health works to correct any problems, through repair
or upgrades to the building, and by the education of building users.
ESH does not enforce the no smoking regulations. Each individual
college and building is responsible for enforcing the no smoking
policy in their facility.
Questions
about indoor air quality can be directed to Jeff
Steen at 3481.
