Academic Advising

Academic Advising (Undergraduate)       Action Dates -- Fall 2014

at Murray State University

Every Murray State undergraduate student needs to meet with his/her Academic Advisor at least once a semester. The tabs at the left will help you to

a) identify YOUR Academic Advisor,

b) know what you need to do and bring for an Academic Advising session,

c) navigate your RACR, or Racer Academic Completion Report,

d) get help when you need it.

Academic Advising is a TEAM effort. Every Academic Advisor at Murray State wants you to have all of the resources you need to succeed, from the moment that you register for your first Murray State class to the moment that you move your tassel at graduation.

If you don’t find the information you need on this website, please contact your Academic Advisor, Department Chair or Program Coordinator, or Dr. Barbara Cobb, Coordinator of Academic Advising, bcobb@murraystate.edu or  msu.advising@murraystate.edu.

Especially for Academic Advisors:

Academic Advising QuickLinks  provides a list of campus resources with e-mail links, phone numbers, and websites. (Click here -- Word file for easy use -- updated 8/10/2014)
