Project Leadership FAQs
What is Project Leadership?
Project Leadership is an interactive leadership workshop led by Murray State University
faculty and staff in conjunction with the Office of Recruitment and the Arthur J. Bauernfeind College of Business.
Students will have the opportunity to attend various interest sessions, enjoy lunch on
campus and interact with other student leaders from the area.
Where will it be held?
The workshop will take place in MSU’s Curris Center, located on Chestnut Street in
Murray, KY.
What does it cost?
There will be a registration fee of $5 per student. This fee includes a t-shirt, lunch and all
materials for the day.
What is the schedule?
Registration will be held from 8:30 - 9 a.m. The opening session will start at 9 a.m. and
will be followed by several interest sessions for students. In the afternoon, the students
will have the chance to learn more about Murray State University and the Bauernfeind College of
Business. The workshop will end by 2 p.m. to allow students to return to their schools.
Will there be anything offered for chaperones or advisors?
Yes. While the students are attending their morning sessions, the advisors and
chaperones are invited to an advisor’s session.
Will lunch be included in the schedule of the day?
Yes. All students, advisors and chaperones will have lunch in our Winslow Dining Hall.
Is there a travel stipend?
Yes. Each school that registers more than ten students will receive a $100 travel stipend
from the Office of Recruitment to help with travel costs to MSU.

You may register your group of students by filling out the registration form and
faxing it to 270.809.3177. In addition, you can contact us by calling 270.809.3585.
