Kentucky Engagement Conference 2014

The theme for this year's Kentucky Engagement Conference is "Productive Partnerships Through Stewardship and Engagement" and is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014 at Morehead State University. 

The conference tracks are: 

Faculty/Staff - What can we as educators do to strengthen partnerships? What are the hallmarks of a successful partnership?  What are best practices to ensure strong, enduring partnerships?

Students – How do students benefit from working with community partners? What type of training do our institutions offer to students embarking on engagement work? How do student experiences shape partnerships?

Community Partners – Are community partners viewed as co-educators? What is the impact of providing awards/recognition for community partners supporting university engagement? Is there a feedback loop? What are we doing to make sure our students are prepared for work in community agencies?

Proposals for posters and presentations are being accepted through Sept. 15, 2014. Submit abstracts to Louise Cooper at l.cooper@moreheadstate.edu. Limit abstracts to 500 words describing the project in enough detail to allow peer review.
