Counseling for Regional Campuses

For Students at our Regional Campuses
Several computers in the Counseling Center on the Murray campus are set up with cameras and speakers allowing our counselors to provide therapy via videoconference for students on our regional campuses who are not able to come to the Murray campus to receive services.  In Murray, the computers are located in the same secure rooms where face-to-face therapy services are provided, so privacy and confidentiality are ensured.  Each of the regional campuses has set up secure rooms with computers with cameras and speakers at their end as well, so the clients will have a private location  where they can speak to a counselor.  At the regional campuses, the way to start the process is to speak to the campus liaison, who would arrange for the use of a private room where paperwork could be completed so that the client could be assigned to a counselor and begin receiving services.

For Online Students
Online students are welcome to come to the Murray campus and go to either the Counseling Center or the Psychological Center.  If online students are not close to any of the university's campuses, they can contact the Counseling Center at msu.counselingcenter@murraystate.edu to discuss the possibility of setting up online counseling services.
