Michael
B. Gage, a 1995 Murray State University alumnus, has been
appointed President and Chief Operating Officer of Kirkbride
Bible Co., effective Sept. 1, 2007. In this capacity Michael
will continue to serve the company as production and purchasing
manager, as well as the company graphic arts designer. Michael
will be responsible for managing all of Kirkbride’s business
operations.

Marshall Gage has stepped down as President and turned over
the day to day operations of the company to his son, Michael
Gage . The elder Gage served as President for the past nineteen
years and will continue in the position of Chief Executive
Officer and Chairman of the Board.
Michael
has been with Kirkbride for the past 12 years working in
graphic arts with marketing, as production manager, and
for the past two and a half years as Executive Vice President.
He is the third generation of the Gage family to be in the
position of President and takes the reins just in time to
begin the Centennial Anniversary of the Thompson ® Chain-Reference
® Bible KJV edition, first published in 1908.
Released
in a Kirkland Bible Company announcement, Gage says, “I
am honored and pleased to continue the family legacy and
tradition as being appointed a 3 rd generation Gage to be
President of Kirkbride Bible Co. Kirkbride has established
itself in the Christian marketplace as the publisher of
one of the best reference Bibles available – the Thompson
® Chain-Reference ® Bible . Our goal is to continue
to publish and distribute through our partners a quality
smyth-sewn, one-volume resource Bible to enhance Bible study
for Christians everywhere.”
Gage
lives in Indianapolis , where he and his wife, the former
Trisha Crider, a 1994 MSU graduate, are co-presidents of
the MSU alumni chapter in Indianapolis.
