he year 2001 marked the 75th anniversary of the Murray State Alumni Association. It also brought the much anticipated construction of the new MSU Alumni Center, which is located on the corner of 641N and Arcadia Drive, in the southeast corner of the Stewart Stadium parking area. A wonderful opportunity awaits you to leave your mark upon the third phase of the Murray State University Alumni Association's "Walk of Fame". We are inviting MSU alumni and friends to have their names and the names of those they would like to honor or memorialize on bricks in the patio area of the new Alumni Center. Sororities, fraternities, and other organizations can sponsor a commemorative brick as a means of honoring its current membership. Facts about the Brick Program!! You may purchase three sizes of bricks The bigger the brick, the more you can have inscribed. The "typical" inscription includes: name, degree, and year graduated. The bricks will be installed in the patio area of the MSU Alumni Center. Each order of bricks will be installed once 100 bricks are sold. Money from the bricks will be used to finance the operation and maintenance of your alumni center. Gift Ideas... You may want to order more than one brick, or choose more than one brick from the various sizes available. The size of brick may be determined by the message you wish to have inscribed. Inscriptions will communicate non-commercial messages only. Company names may be used, but company phone numbers, slogans, and pitches will not be permitted. Discriminatory or inappropriate messages which refer to an individual's group, sex, race, color, religion, national origin or physical handicap will not be permitted.
