A MSU family tradition continues with Terry and Pam Ark from Nashville , Tenn. Family members, Terry ‘75, and Pam ’74 are pictured with their daughter, Kim , a 2004 graduate, and their son, Chris, a future MSU 2008 graduate who will enroll this fall at MSU. The reception was held Friday evening in the MSU Alumni Center to honor MSU’s 2004 graduates, the golden 1954 class, and Rex Geveden, the 2004 MSU Distinguished Alumnus recipient.

2004 Outstanding MSU senior man and woman, Amanda Miller, Metropolis, Ill., and Conner Cantrell, Oklahoma City, Okla., pose with Rex Geveden, the 2004 Distinguished Alumnus recipient at the Friday evening reception. Geveden, the Deputy Director of NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville , Ala. , is jointly responsible for managing one of NASA’s largest field installations, with more than 6,500 civil service and contract employees and an annual budget of $2.3 billion. Geveden began his NASA career at Marshall Space Flight Center in 1990 after completing his bachelor’s degree in engineering physics and master’s degree in physics at Murray State University .

The Distinguished Alumnus Dinner was held Friday evening in Pogue Library to honor the 2004 recipient, Rex Geveden.
