Discover Programs

MSU offers three Discover programs in conjunction with exchange partners abroad. These are available at People's Education Press in Beijing, China; Shandong University in Weihai, China; and Daegu University in Daegu, South Korea. Faculty with experience in China or Korea either through the faculty/staff discover programs or personal experience, are encouraged to apply for the faculty directorship for the respective program. Deadlines are announced each year. Click on Discover Programs for a detailed director description and the program application.

Create Your Own Faculty-Led Program

Study abroad takes multiple forms at Murray State University. One option for our faculty is the ability to create a new program from the ground up with the assistance of the Study Abroad Office of the Institute for International Studies. While you as a faculty can choose the sites you wish to visit and tours you want to include, we will work with a program provider to manage the logistical details. This enables you to focus on the academics of the program while we focus on the logistics needed to make your program a success.
