Welcome

Get out of here! Explore your academic horizons with Murray State University when you study abroad. You’ll find that the world is smaller than you think, that people can agree to disagree, and that perhaps you can dream a bigger dream.

Study abroad gives you the opportunity to challenge your own views as you interact with people from around the world, people who have been raised in a different culture and tradition. Give yourself the chance to open new doors – you’ll be surprised at what you might find when you do.

Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship

Emily Just, a 2006 MSU Alum, has been awarded a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship by the Murray Rotary Club to study health promotion at the National University of Ireland-Galway in Galway, Ireland for a year. She will be taking classes as well as participating in research and getting involved in service in the community. In addition, she will speak to Rotary clubs across Ireland about life in Kentucky. "It's not often that we get to enter into another culture for as long as a year and I plan on taking full advantage of this opportunity," Just said. "Festivals, social life, religious services...I want to experience anything I can get myself into. I also plan on traveling around Europe, etc. while I'm across the ocean. This is a wonderful opportunity and I encourage anyone interested in study abroad to apply for this scholarship."
