To Katrina Affected Students
In response to the needs of college students whose lives and educational goals have been disrupted by the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina, President Alexander has approved a plan to offer admission to displaced college students from the colleges and universities whose operations have been affected.

Murray State University staff will work closely with qualified students to expedite admissions, assist with financial aid, design appropriate class schedules, and locate housing. MSU is waiving fall tuition for qualified students displaced by the hurricane. Classes are currently in session, so interested students should respond as soon as possible. Second-half of the semester courses begin on October 1st. For more information, please contact the Registrar, Ms. Donna Harris at 270-762-3380 or email at Donna.Harris@murraystate.edu.
