Electronic Databases

Who: All current MSU faculty, staff, and students
What: access to electronic databases through the MSU Libraries' Home Page (Databases A - Z or Subject Sources)
How: Log on with valid user name and password
- Click on the needed database title
- At the logon screen, enter your current Murray State email user ID, usually your firstname.lastname (example: john.doe) as "user name" and your current email password as "password.

Online Catalog: RACERtrac

Who: Anyone
What: The MSU Libraries' online public access catalog, RACERtrac
How: Select RACERtrac from the MSU Libraries' Home Page (The Library's online catalog is available without logging in.

Extended Campus Services

Who: All students enrolled in MSU extended campus programs of the Center for Continuing Education and Academic Outreach (CE/AO)

What: Access to MSU Libraries Resources
- Materials housed at MSU Libraries' Murray campus
  - May be requested by using ILLiad through the icon, or by completing request forms on ILLiad directly.
  - PLEASE indicate your campus when you register on ILLiad
  - Hard copy (books) and printed articles will be sent to the campus office
  - And photocopied materials will be billed at $0.10 per page.
  - Electronically sent materials (PDF) can be retrieved using ILLiad
- Online Resources:
  - Electronic Databases (see above)
  - Online Catalog (see above)
- Materials NOT housed at the MSU Libraries' Murray campus.
  (Any material, located using the resources mentioned above, and that MSU does not own may be ordered in the same way.)
In Your Classroom: Librarian presentations
- Reference librarians will come to the extended campus, or provide demonstrations via interactive TV
- These demonstrations will help the class understand how to complete research from the campus or from home
- These demonstrations will help students with research strategy, interlibrary loan, and obtaining materials at the MSU library in Murray
- Suggest this service to your instructor
