Honors Day

 

MSU recognizes a growing tradition of academic excellence.  The Honors Day ceremony acknowledges our outstanding undergraduate students’ (preferably seniors) performance as scholars.  Recognition should be based upon academic achievement and leadership in departmental and university affairs.

University Wide Honor Society Awards	This form should be used for university wide awards such as those given by the Honors Program, Alpha Chi, Alpha Lambda Delta, Gamma Beta Phi, Omicron Delta Kappa, and Sigma Xi.
Collegiate/Departmental Awards	This form should be used for awards presented by individual colleges and departments.
Departmental Honor Society Awards	This form should be used for awards presented by individual departments to members of the departmental honor society.
Department/Division Academic Fraternity, Society, or Club Awards	This form should be used for awards presented by departmental or divisional academic fraternities, societies, or clubs to their members.
Residential College Awards	This form should be used for the Academic Achievement and Outstanding Service Awards presented by the residential colleges.
Student Affairs Awards	This form should be used for the Ralph Woods Memorial Award, Outstanding Senior Woman Award, and the Outstanding Senior Man Award presented by the Student Affairs.
