Current Intern and/or Co-op placements

We strongly encourage our students to seek out and get some work experience while still in school. Internships and Co-op Work Study programs serve this purpose very well. Both Computer Science and Computer Information Systems students can include ONE co-op/intern class in their curriculum. This is usually a course numbered 488 or 500.

Our students have worked at CSI (Paducah), VCRjobs.com, Murray State University, State Farm Insurance (Bloomington, IL), Hawkins Research (Murray, KY) and a variety of small businesses. In all cases they were involved in career-related projects. Their internships or co-op placement would not be approved otherwise.
