Master of Science in Organizational Communication with Focus in Educational Administration

The Cyprus M.S. in Organizational Communication, with an Educational Administration Focus, provides the graduate training necessary to advance and succeed as administrators and leaders. Studying Organizational Communication will help you more effectively build consensus, coordinate actions, make decisions, and gain the commitment of others to strategic vision and goals. Our objective is to build your administrative acumen through the application of communication and education theory and research.

The 31-hour, Cyprus M.S. in Organizational Communication has been designed to provide the program’s core graduate classes plus select organizational communication and education courses related to educational administration. Course content in these complementary areas applies to anyone seeking advancement in educational administration or leadership positions in related non-profit organizations.

Typical Course Schedule
Day 1 View multi-media CD introducing the instructor, the course content and policies, and initial material (1-2 hours total).
 
Days 2 - 17 Self-study and complete pre-seminar readings and assignments. Communicate with instructor electronically.
 
Days 18 - 27 Seminars (36 hours total)
 
Days 28 - 41 Complete seminar assignments and prepare for final.
 
Day 42 Final Exam (4 hours).

Admission Requirements

  1. Hold a baccalaureate degree, an equivalent post-secondary diploma.
  2. An overall GPA of 3.0 with at least a minor in communication, business or related field.
  3. Conditional acceptance may be granted to students who have undergraduate GPA of at least 2.50 with the approval of the graduate program coordinator.
