Administrative Professionals Day 2008

Thanks Sheila! We appreciate the job you're doing.
On Tuesday, April 15, 2008, Dr. Mangold and Dr. David Faulds, UofL Marketing professor, had their joint Consumer Generated Media classes present "Marketing in the Era of Consumer Generated Media." Interactive Television allowed the teams and guests at both locations to present and interact.
Murray State's Dr. Glynn Mangold and University of Louisville's Dr. David Faulds co-taught a Special Problems class during the Spring of 2008 entitled "Marketing in the Era of Consumer Generated Media." The course addressed major issues pertaining to consumer generated media's role in promotion and marketing.
Student teams were comprised of both Murray State and University of Louisville students. Various distance communication technologies were used to facilitate communication within the cross-university teams.
The pictures below show Murray State students using interactive television, in conjunction with their University of Louisville teammates, to present their semester's work to a group of distinguished evaluators from the Louisville business community. Dr. Mangold is shown operating the interactive television technology in the classroom.
The Department of Management, Marketing and Business Administration
offers many curriculum alternatives for students. Students completing an
area in management, marketing or business administration meet the strongest
requirements for each of these fields. Students may also focus on a major
in business administration and then choose a minor outside the College of
Business to broaden their expertise in another field of interest. Additionally,
a student may pursue a minor in management, marketing, real estate, advertising,
office systems, or business administration.
