Bachelor of Science in Business
Online Program

The Bachelor of Science in Business online program is administered by the Department of Management, Marketing and Business Administration within the College of Business and Public Affairs at Murray State University. The first two years of study consist mainly of a basic framework of courses, such as English, Mathematics, and some introductory business classes (Economics and Accounting), while the following two years mainly consist of specialized courses in the various fields of business, including finance, management, marketing, statistics, computers, business ethics and law. The Business Administration Area in the Bachelor of Science in Business degree program prepares students for a variety of career opportunities with a broad and overall understanding of the functional disciplines of business. This prepares graduates to be successful in middle-level and upper-level management positions in small, medium, and large business organizations.

Murray State University and Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) have entered into a transfer agreement between the Associate of Arts Degree offered by KCTCS and the Bachelor of Science in Business offered by Murray State University. Students may take KCTCS and Murray State courses at campus sit or online, thereby increasing educational opportunities for students throughout the state and region.
