8/28 – Cookout – First Meeting

9/4 – Meeting – Gabe Jenkins from KDFWR Wildlife Biologist Big Game Program will be speaking about Chronic Wasting Disease research in KY.  We need volunteers to help with collecting heads for CWD testing, blood samples, reproductive tracts, and possibly fecal samples. More info will be posted after the meeting.

9/11 – Meeting – Erin Patrick, Rabies Wildlife Biologist with USDA/APHIS/Wildlife Services, will be speaking about rabies issues in KY and about the KY state chapter including its next meeting.

9/19 – Trash pick-up 4-6pm

9/20 – Bird Banding at Clarks River Refuge 7:30am – 11:30am.  Cookout at Dr. White’s house 3:30-7:30pm

9/25 – Meeting – Speaker Unknown

10/2 – Meeting – Bill Lynch, KDFWR Private Lands Biologist, will be speaking about Turkey Vulture nesting behavior and ecology.
