Minutes for September 11, 2008 meeting:

Meeting was commenced at 7:30pm.  Our speaker was Erin Patrick with the USDA.  She is a Rabies Wildlife Biologist and her presentation was over Preventing the Spread of Rabies - "The National Rabies Management Program."  Erin also announced that the Ky State meeting for the Wildlife Society will be held February 26-27 at Barren River State Park.  There will be mock interviews and a resume building workshop.  Students are encouraged to prepare presentations over graduate or undergrad projects.

Short break before official meeting.

Emily announced that people with dues paid may go on the bird banding trip. Dues are $10 and should be given to David Farrell.

Elk weekends update - We had a very large number of people to sign up.  Those who signed up for both weekends need to contact an officer to choose only one date.

Trash pick-up
-voted that 4-6pm on Wednesdays would work best for everyone to pick up trash
