We were very fortunate to have Professor Henry F. Schaefer, III, Graham Perdue Professor of Chemistry and Director of the Center for Computational Quantum Chemistry at the University of Georgia, as the first speaker in this distinguished lecture series.  The title of his lecture was "The Third Age of Quantum Chemistry" and a large crowd of students, faculty, and industrial representatives attended the lecture.  We want to thank Professor Schaefer for visiting Murray State University and presenting the first lecture in this series.  Below are some pictures from the reception preceding the lecture.
