The Department of Chemistry at Murray State University and Air Products are proud to establish annual Gary Boggess Distinguished Lecture in Chemistry.  Dr. Gary Boggess is a former Dean of the College of Science and faculty member in the Department of Chemistry at Murray State University.  This seminar is in recognition of Dean Boggess' years of distinguished service to the department, college, and university.  Please read a biographical sketch for more information.

We were pleased to have Dr. Joseph A. Caruso, Professor of Analytical Chemistry at the University of Cincinnati, as our speaker this year.  The title of his talk was "Elemental Speciation:  A New Departure for Trace Element Analysis".
