Residence Halls

Murray state has nine residence halls for students. Each residence hall is equipped with computer rooms or labs, television, study room, coin-operated laundry facilities, vending machines, and kitchenettes with microwaves. Students living in residence halls are permitted to have automobiles, and parking is available in areas adjacent to the halls, Individual student rooms are equipped with telephone jacks, beds, desks, desk chairs, closet and drawer space. Cable television is available for an additional charge.

College Court Apartments

The College Court housing complex consists of twelve buildings with twelve furnished apartments per building. The complex is located on Valentine Street near the northwest corner of the campus and is approximately fours blocks from the center of the campus. 

One hundred and thirty-two of the apartments consist of one bedroom, a combination living and dining room, and bathroom. Two full sized closets and a linen closet are provided. Twelve of the apartments have two bedrooms. All of the apartments are furnished and air-conditioned, and equipped with telephone jacks. Laundry facilities are locating in each building. Cable television is available for an additional charge. 

A deposit of $100 is due before an apartment is assigned. This deposit should accompany your application for student housing. The deposit will be refunded when you vacate, with the exception of possible charges for damages. The monthly rental rate for the Fall, 1998 semester is $370 per month for the one-bedroom apartments, and $435 for the two-bedroom apartments.
