About Me:
I am a Kentucky State University graduate student in the Dept. for Computer and Technical Sciences. I received my baccalaureate degree from UK in English, and will complete my Masters in Computer Science in the Spring of 2010. I am a Graduate Research Assistant for KY NSF EPSCoR, and have been pursuing studies in High Performance Computing, including parallel computing architecture, message passing interface, and performance optimization, under this program. I'm also engaged in wireless sensor networking, and am interested in its application in gathering data for scientific research. Beyond this, I am also interested in the mechanisms that transform the data to usable information, including incorporating parallelized code for real-time convergence and data mining.
