Downloading Instructions

Further details for downloading depend on the kind of computer you are using and the Web browser which you are using. The following instructions are based on Netscape---if you have a different browser, these instructions will only be a general guide and you may have to write for further instructions. If you still have problems downloading materials, or if you wish to point out any other information which should be on this page, write the following address:

1. Click on the title of the lesson or lab (it should be colored blue).

2. These files all end in '.ms', so the first time you try to download one of these files, your browser will probably ask you what to do with this file. Instruct it to 'save' the file. In all subsequent downloads, the browser will skip this step and proceed immediately to:

3. At this point the browser will ask you where you wish to save the file. You will then need to direct it to the appropriate directory on your hard disk, or to your floppy disk.

4. You're done. The file should now be openable by MAPLE on almost any computer.
