The Science Resource Center (SRC) functions as a resource for faculty, staff, and students by providing available computer and media technology for the enhancement of the teaching/ learning/research mission of the College of Science, Engineering and Technology and the goals of Murray State University. The SRC is located on the third floor of the Blackburn Science Building, room 306, and is open 7 days a week.


SRC Services include:
student access to MSU Racer Lab, E-mail services and the World Wide Web; Gateway E Series computers (1.7 ghtz pentuims) running Microsoft XP Pro with Microsoft Office XP Pro (Word, Excel, Access, FrontPage) as well as MathCad and Statview software packages. Classroom notes are stored in the SRC by faculty to make them readily available to their students. We also maintain a number of educational videos.

The SRC also offers web page design and maintenance for the various departments and faculty within the College of Science and graphic art services to College of Science faculty, their graduate students, and staff. Examples

Fall: Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m. thru 9:00 p.m.
Fridays 8:00 a.m. thru 4:30 p.m.
Saturdays & Sundays 1:00 p.m. thru 6:00 p.m.
